Double Up Food Bucks

 

Double Up Food Bucks is back!  2024 participants are now listed.  More locations will be added throughout the season as funding becomes available. Thanks to all of our partners and participating locations.  Please continue to support all the grocers and farmers markets that make this program a success.   

SNAP recipients receive a one-to-one dollar match to purchase locally grown produce at many farmers markets and farm stands across Arkansas.  In addition, they will receive free nutrition and cooking education.  Also, using DUFBs increases farmers' sales and creates sustainability by supporting local agriculture.   The program runs from May 1st until October 31st.

Here's a great example of Double Up Food Bucks in action.  Bell Urban Farm is a valued partner in our program.  Owner Kim Doughty-McCannon talks about why her Conway Farm Stand is proud to be involved and how it impacts multiple layers of the food chain.  Our Program Manager Jeremy Adams also weighs in on how Bell Urban Farm is enhancing their community through Double Up Food Bucks.
