The Arkansas Coalition for Obesity Prevention is recognizing The City of Bryant as a Thriving Community.  The City of Bryant has implemented “Pop Up” streets featuring complete street specifications for community awareness and upcoming change. In addition, the City has painted roads featuring bike lanes as well as new natural mulch trails at select parks.

The City of Bryant has partnered with several faith-based organizations within the community to supplement a neighborhood feeding programs and lunches for school children. The City collected thousands of canned goods at youth sporting events for the local church to pack lunches and disburse to needy families.

The City of Bryant Parks has enacted a smoke-free policy in the rules and regulations as adopted by the Bryant Parks Committee. These regulations are posted throughout the park and feature a singular smoking area clear of all parks facilities and programs.
